Its like walking in and out of a faded dream... something that you knew that was, but now it is gone. It was a simple idea, thought about way to much.

I can’t explain what I mean. And even if I could, I’m not sure I’d feel like it.

Its kind of alright how nothing lasts.

Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the things you can think up if only you try!

its amazing to see how people can be so caught up in life that they forget to be

You are you. Now, isn’t that pleasant?

The Weight of a Question

the question 'How are you?' does not translate to 'What has been keeping you busy?'
the question 'How are you?' is in reference to how are you feeling, wether that is spiritually, emotionally, physically or mentally is up to the person to decide, unless if you make your question less general.

BUT..
be careful, do not ask 'How are you?', and not have time for a sometimes lengthy, and sometimes emotional answer. If you genuinely care, but are stuck for time, make a point to connect schedules, and really see how they are doing.

BUT..
only ask this question if you are going to share the road and not jump off the cliff when it comes to your own problems and issues, half the time, the things we see as large issues are really not great at all, and in comparison to your colleague they can be the size of an ant.

Don't get me wrong it is good to express your feelings and thoughts, but not everyone is ready or willing to take the weight of the world on their shoulders. Only give what you would be willing to carry, do not blow your problems out of proportion and as hard as it is at times STOP OVER THINKING THINGS.

not everything is about you and nothing should ever be just about you, try going to God with your issues first. So often we rely on the ears of others because we can physically see them, and push God to the back burner, forgetting it is still on and eventually allowing our relationship with God to evaporate until there is hardly if any water left to not even come close to encompassing the noodles needed to feed an army, let alone yourself.

Cry on Jesus' shoulder. He has the Whole World in His hands...imagine how big his shoulders must be !

To Speak Or Not to Speak...

Words are powerful; take them seriously. Words can be your salvation. Words can also be your damnation. (Matthew 12:37).

Speaking, the verbal expression of ones opinion. What we say matters. Do we think before we speak, or do we just do, to later suffer the consequences of not thinking. I know that in the matters of the Lord you should just do after listening, and if that includes speaking, by all means do so. Watch what you say, guard your words as you guard your heart. The tongue is a two edged sword, able to be mean and cynical, but it can also be kind and real.

choose what side of the sword you use, and choose wisely, for actions speak louder than words, but the words you do speak are heard and taken to heart no matter how much they are ignored. Discern what to say and when to say it. Your opinion may not always be heard, but sometimes that may be for the better.

My Child

I received this message in my mail box the other day, unawares of who the sender might be, but I thought I would share it.
Each line is an excerpt from a Bible passage or a whole passage.

My Child,
You may not know me, but I know everything about you...
I know when you sit down and when you rise up...
I am familiar with all of your ways...
Even the very hairs on your head are numbered...
For you were made in my image...
In me you live and move and have your being...
For you are my offspring...
I knew you even before you were conceived...
I chose you when I planned creation...
You were not a mistake, for all your days are written in my book...
I determined the exact time of your birth and where you would live...
You are fearfully and wonderfully made...
I knit you together in your mother's womb...
And brought you forth on the day you were born...
I have been misrepresented by those who don't know me...
I am not distant and angry, but am the complete expression of love...
And it is my desire to lavish love on you...
Simply because you are my child and I am your Father...
I offer you more than your earthly father ever could...
For I am the perfect father...
Every good gift that you receive comes from my hand...
For I am your provider and I meet all your needs...
My plan for your future has always been filled with hope...
Because I love you with an everlasting love...
My thoughts toward you are countless as the sand on the seashore...
And I rejoice over you with singing...
I will never stop doing good to you...
For you are my treasured possession...
I desire to establish you with all my heart and all my soul...
And I want to show you great and marvellous things...
If you seek me with all your heart, you will find me...
Delight in me and I will give you the desires of your heart...
For it is I who gave you those desires...
I am able to do more for you than you could possibly imagine...
For I am your greatest encourager...
I am also the Father who comforts you in all your troubles...
When you are broken hearted, i am close to you...
As a shepherd carries a lamb, I have carried you close to my heart...
One day I will wipe away every tear from your eyes...
And I'll take away all the pain you have suffered on this earth...
I am your Father, and I love you even as I love my son, Jesus
For in Jesus, my love for you is revealed...
He is the exact representation of my being...
He came to demonstrate that I am for you, not against you...
And to tell you that I am not counting your sins...
Jesus died so that you and I could be reconciled...
His death was the ultimate expression of my love for you...
I gave up everythingI loved that I might gain your love...
If you receive the gift of my son Jesus, you receive me...
And nothing will ever separate you from my love again...
Come home and I'll throw the biggest party heaven has ever seen... (in reference to rejoicing over one repentant sinner)
I have always been father, and will always be father...
My question is...Will you be my child?...
I am waiting for you...

Love,
      Your Dad, Almighty God

As simple as that.

"The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else. From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. For in him we live and move and have our being..." (Acts 17:24-28).

This is truth, and for me, I did not know till today that the Bible stated this outright. Take a moment to breathe, read, and believe.
